About us

Omaha-born Pat Costello learned the art of meat cutting from his dad, Joe. Moving to California as a boy, Pat began working as a butcher at age 9. At 15, Pat was recognized as the state's youngest tradesman.

After service in the military, Pat returned to Omaha and opened Just Good Meat in 1959. For over 65 years, Pat cut and smoked meats, perfecting his passion and creating great BBQ everyone enjoys.

Just Good Meat prides itself on providing the finest quality beef, chicken, pork, seafood, jerky, seasonings, sauces, offering a full line of home made deli items, fresh sandwiches and foods ranging from Chili to BBQ meats.
